The United States going by way of Greece?

Greece is the insolvent, bankrupt country that threatens to bring down the entire EU (European Union) with its exploding and toxic national debt. But it’s just one of the PIGS- Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain. The EU is damned if they do, damned if they don’t. If they choose to bail out Greece in order to save the union, soon they’ll have much bigger bankrupt nations to deal with (Portugal and Spain are next in a long Conga line). “Three times — in 1975, 1976 and 1982 — Ohioans have decisively rejected the use of public money to finance passenger rail in Ohio, twice by breathtaking margins. In 1982, a proposal to build a high-speed rail system was defeated, 2,420,593 to 775,605. And there isn’t the slightest doubt voters would react similarly if given a chance to kill the ridiculous rail plan now being pursued by Ohio’s leaders — a plan that would waste hundreds of millions in tax dollars. » read more

LETTER: When Will Crazy Spending Stop?

To the Editor (MJ): As I predicted, liberal Democrat Sherrod Brown voted yes to raise the national debt by $1.9 trillion which now increases the overall debt ceiling to an unbelievable $14.29 trillion.

Brown also voted no to put spending caps on 40 percent of the federal budget and also voted no to establish a commission to draft a deficit reduction plan.

As long as Brown is a senator for Ohio he does not represent “We the People.”

Brown has been and is mortgaging the future of Ohio and the nation for the next century. our taxes will steeply rise thanks to Brown’s out-of-control votes for spending every Ohio taxpayer’s hard earned money.

Tell me Senator Brown when will all of your crazy spending stop?
