Organizational Chart
Summary
The following creates divisions and committees within the Lorain County Libertarian Party to aide with goals and growth for the future.
While all scopes will be covered by committees, it will still be required for some actions to be approved by the Executive Committee. This will be done by following the current party bylaws.
All committees responsible for deciding endorsements or public releases will report to the appropriate Communication Division for official release.
Communication Division – comdivision@loraincountylibertarians.org
Focused on all LCLP communication vehicles, press releases, web updates, LCLP email announcements, and media contacts.
Committees:
Public Relations & Media Committee – prmedia@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Focused on external communication to the public
- Responsible for distributing press releases, public relations, media relationships, and LCLP endorsements
Newsletter & Writing Committee – newsletter@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Focused on LCLP newsletter
- Includes content editing, layout, production, and mailing of newsletter.
- Submit articles for the LCLP website and handle county wide email announcements
- Responsible for creation of press releases, formal written LCLP endorsements, and any other written media.
Audio/Visual Committee – av@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Photographs and records key events for posting on available LCLP communication network sites
- Obtain copyright permission from media outlets for posting video or audio of appropriate LCLP events. This includes televised and radio speeches and campaign media segments of candidates and LCLP representatives.
Web Committee – web@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Focused on maintaining and updating LCLP website
- Responsible for maintaining and updating social networking sites and community directory sites
- Responsible for notifying other Libertarian Party websites of changes needed regarding the LCLP (example: notifying LPO of meeting announcements or changes)
- Will work with Newsletter & Writing Committee for appropriate content
Finance Division – financedivision@loraincountylibertarians.org
Focused on the financial success of the LCLP. Specifically includes fundraising, promotions, and helping set budgets for the LCLP and events.
Committees:
Fundraising Campaign Committee – fundcamp@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Seek out new donors, make face to face solicitations, and operate a donor recognition program
- Create rough drafts of fundraising letters and work with the Newsletter & Writing Committee for final draft
Fundraising Event Committee – fundevent@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Responsible for organizing all fund raising events
- Recruit volunteers to help with events
- Create fundraising ticket prices for events where applicable
Budget Committee – budgetcom@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Responsible for creating budgets. This includes budgets for committees, events, and any other planned expenditures
- Work with LCLP Treasurer on financials and forecasting
Fundraising Merchandise Committee – fundmerch@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Responsible for any physical products that may be resold for fundraising purposes
- Includes T-shirts, bumper stickers, buttons, etc.

Focused on countywide candidates and issues
Committees:
Candidates and Campaigns Committee – candcamp@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Will work directly with LPO to identify qualified candidates to run in elections
- Will be responsible for Candidate Relations. Work with and coordinate with candidates to ensure maximum support from the LCLP.
- Responsible for recognizing candidates for possible endorsements in non-partisan races and races where a Libertarian Party candidate is not running. Will report to the appropriate Communication Division committee in the event an endorsement is decided
Issue Review Committee – issues@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Focused on reviewing and offering opinions on ballot initiatives
- Work with Outreach Committee to determine if LCLP should network with PACs or other special interest groups
- Work with Policy Monitoring Committee to determine if LCLP should support or oppose policy being proposed in Lorain County municipalities
- Work with the appropriate Communication Division committee for official LCLP stance
Field Development Division – outreach@loraincountylibertarians.org
Focused on membership and support growth of the LCLP
Committees:
Membership Committee – membership@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Will work to grow the LCLP membership and supporter base
- Responsible for coordinating membership drives
Outreach Committee – outreach@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Responsible for identifying PACs and other special interest groups for prospective networking activities
- Will report information gathered on PACs and special interest groups to the appropriate Political Division committee for further review to determine if action from LCLP is needed
Policy Monitoring Committee – policy@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Focus on gathering information on all proposed policy from municipalities within Lorain County
- Will report all policies where official statement from the LCLP may be needed to the appropriate Political Division committee
Monthly Meeting Committee – monthly@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Responsible for choosing location and time for LCLP monthly meetings
- Responsible for coordinating with all committees to determine meeting agenda
Event Committee – events@loraincountylibertarians.org
- Responsible for identifying community and county events for LCLP to be present
- Includes parades, fairs, etc
